Project Earth – Ascension

Today I want to share a little of the background behind the book series Project Earth – Ascension.

The cover of the first book has its origins far back in time. In the late 1990s, after my first kundalini activation, I painted an image without any idea that it would one day become the gateway to an entire book series. The original painting was later lost, but fortunately I had taken a photograph of it. Many years later, I recreated it digitally – it felt like bringing back a forgotten part of myself.

The first book was written over two intense months in 2011. It was a very difficult period in my life. I had broken my back in two places after a cycling accident in Hong Kong, I was going through a divorce, and I lost my mother to cancer. Everything happened within a short span of time. To cope, I turned inwards. I sought refuge in a world of imagination.

The story simply came. Without a plan, without a goal. It wrote itself through me.

When the book was finished, I put it aside for several years. I had no intention of publishing it, and honestly, I could barely remember what it was about. When I later picked it up and read it again, I was surprised – not only by the story, but by how deeply personal it actually was. I gradually realised that the book was about me.

All the characters represent different aspects of myself – different phases of my life, experiences, emotions, and perspectives. The story is a weaving of real events, dreams, out-of-body experiences, and imagination. Everything flows together. In the first book, I have actually visited all the places described – either physically, in dreams, or through inner experiences.

When I was writing, I didn’t think about what it was. Some might call it “downloads” or channelling. I chose to call it something much simpler: imagination. Science fiction.

After the book was published, I had no plans to write more. It felt like a closed chapter.

But a few weeks later, something unexpected happened.

I woke up one morning, and the entire second book was there. Like a dream I had just woken from – clear, vivid, and complete.

I wrote down everything I could remember as quickly as possible, and that was the beginning of the sequel. Only afterwards did I begin to see the pattern.

The first book was red – like the root chakra. And it was, in fact, about the root chakra, without me realising it at the time. The second book moved into the sacral chakra. I didn’t understand that either at first; it only became clear once the book was finished.

That was when it dawned on me: this was not just one story. It was the beginning of a series – a journey through all the chakras, and through what we all experience here on Earth.

The books were originally intended as a thriller series for young adults, but over time I have discovered that both men and women of all ages have found joy in them – and that perhaps brings me the greatest happiness of all.
