The Global Awakening – What Is Actually Happening?

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed something.

Not only within myself — but in conversations, in people’s eyes, in the questions they are asking.

More people are turning inward.

More people are feeling unsettled.

More people sense that something no longer fits.

Many describe:

– intensified emotions

– a need for silence

– less tolerance for noise, drama, and artificiality

– a longing for something real, without fully knowing what that is

Some call it a life crisis.

Others call it awakening.

I recognise the pattern.

For me, the journey began long before I knew what kundalini was. It didn’t start as a spiritual search. It began as an inner shift — as if life itself rearranged the furniture in the room without asking permission.

What is interesting is this:

It is no longer happening only to individuals.

It feels collective.

We live in a time where old structures are destabilising while people’s inner lives are intensifying. Information moves faster. Masks fall quicker. And more people are asking questions they never asked before:

– Who am I, really?

– What is the meaning of all this?

– Why does the world suddenly feel different?

Some explain this through astrology.

Others through neuroscience.

Some point to technology, solar cycles, or the Earth’s electromagnetic field.

Perhaps we don’t need a single explanation.

Perhaps awakening is not a mystical event — but a natural phase in human development.

Kundalini is often described as an energy that awakens within the individual.

But I am beginning to sense that we may also be living through a planetary awakening.

Not dramatic.

Not perfect.

But noticeable.

More people are choosing silence over noise.

More people are listening to their bodies.

More people dare to admit that consciousness is not only something we think — but something we are.

Awakening is not about becoming special.

It is about becoming more authentic.

And perhaps that is why so many feel slightly displaced right now.

Not because something is wrong with them.

But because something within them has begun to wake up.

This is the first of several reflections on kundalini and consciousness in our time.

Not as a conclusion.

But as an exploration.
