Truth

The concept of truth has always fascinated me. What is true, and what is not? This grand illusion that we humans so often clash over.

On the front page of my doctoral thesis, I included a text that came to me: "Your perception of truth is exactly what you think it is." For the cover of my first book series, Project Earth, I added an additional sentence: "But it will change when you evolve."

One of the reasons I left the world of research was the realization that data can be manipulated through statistics to show exactly what you want it to. I’m not saying everyone cheats, but the possibility is always there. Another issue is that research often fails to view the subject within a larger context. Is it then a "truth"?

Looking back at history, that word has mostly led to division because our perceptions differ so greatly. We are quick to embrace what resonates with us and often label it as the absolute truth.

There is so much to discuss when it comes to truth. Perhaps it will be the subject of a new book
